Easter Holidays

Ever wondered what a cake would taste like without eggs? Or how to help a dragon with bad breath? 

This Easter you can expect an action-packed day out, with experiments in the Kitchen, Dazzling shows in the Studio and catch a glimpse of the spring night sky in our Planetarium.

Please book your tickets in advance as we tend to become fully booked during weekends and holidays. 

What's on this Easter holiday 

• In the Theatre of Curiosity, enjoy a fun exploration of Artificial Intelligence using a giant playable map, building blocks and a card game called ‘Is it Cat?’. You’ll uncover the hidden and interesting ways AI is being used in Bristol, see how it works and think about how it will change our lives.
• Can you make a cake without flour? Head to our Kitchen to investigate the delicious chemistry of cake baking.
• How do you get a genie out of a tight squeeze? Meet our magical friends, in our Studio show 'Fairytale SOS'.
• What kind of curious are you? Come to Open City Lab to be a part of real research and gain your 'Passport to the Stars'. 

All these activities are drop-in. Just check times on arrival. 

In the Planetarium

Add tickets to the UK's only 3D planetarium for just £4 per person (£3 concession). 

Discover what aliens might look like and fly to distant worlds in 'Life in the Universe' or explore the lifecycle of stars in seasonal stargazing show The Ever-changing Sky.

Due to eye health restrictions, 3D shows aren't suitable for children under 6. Instead little ones and their grown-ups can pack their space bags and prepare for launch in interactive show Space Explorers 2D.

Easter Holiday Relaxed Morning
